Part of the NMC OSCE Assessment and (in some centres) the NMC Implementation Stations is your interaction with live actors who play your patients. This is especially useful, because building and maintaining rapport with patients is one of the concerns that OSCE nurses sometimes express. We say that practice makes perfect for this. The more you rehearse assessing patients, the more comfortable you will feel when you're called to do this on the big day.
