RNC and ambulance staff strikes

- By (4 articles)

The unsatisfaction of nurses and their consequent strikes have not been easy situations to deal with, as the government tries to come to an agreement with the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) about the pay that nurses receive.

Chronic understaffing, as well as a multitude of other issues, have become so bad that on the 6th and 7th of February, both the RCN and ambulance staff are going to be striking in what will be the biggest walkout to date.

It is clear that an agreement needs to be reached soon before the situation boils over into anarchy, with much of the population unable to receive critical healthcare access when they need it

The government are held accountable for numerous improper decisions in their handling of the NHS crisis, including insufficient funding and unsuitable infrastructure to train enough new nurses.
