Upcoming rail strikes

Despite all of this preparation, unfortunately there is always the possibility of unforeseen circumstances causing stress and confusion on a day in which you have training or an exam.
Rail strikes have been announced for various dates in the month of July, the RMT and ASLEF unions have set dates in which a reduced service on UK railways will be in operation.
These dates are:
RMT
- Thursday 20th July
- Saturday 22nd July
- Saturday 29th July
ASLEF
- Monday 3rd July
- Tuesday 4th July
- Wednesday 5th July
- Thursday 6th July
- Friday 7th July
- Saturday 8th July
These strike actions will cause disruptions on days where some of our courses are running, suggestions for avoiding major delays include to set out to leave at an earlier time and also to see if alternatives to travelling by train such as coach options would be viable.
