Charing Cross station is a railway station in the City of Westminster, in Central London. Originally opened in 1864, it is the 15th busiest railway station in the UK and serves the south east of England.
At IELTS Medical we understand that many of our learners come from outside of London and are not native to the UK. We understand that being in a city you’re not familiar with, in a country you are not native to can be overwhelming when it comes to travelling around a city the size of London. At IELTS Medical we want to reduce confusion that comes with traveling around an unfamiliar city.
London Charing Cross has arrivals each day coming from Kent and the South East of England, many commuters working in the city of London travel through Charing Cross to get to their workplace. It is in a very central location, one of the main tourist areas in the city.
If you’re from Dartford, Maidstone, Haystings or Dover it is highly likely that you will arrive into London via Charing Cross station. Getting to our training centre from Charing Cross is most efficient by utilising the London Underground.
Here are the steps to reach IELTS Medical’s training centre from Charing Cross station:
- Start at Charing Cross station
- Go to Underground platform 1
- Get on Bakerloo line service terminating at Stonebridge Park
- Get off the tube at Edgware Road station
- Walk 5 minutes to our training centre (NW1 5RA)
This journey should take around 25 minutes in total (walk times included).
