London Bridge Railway Station
This station is located in central London and is connected to a tube station of the same name, it is one of the oldest train stations in the world, having been opened in 1836. It is the 4th busiest railway station in London, serving around 50 million passengers per year.
At IELTS Medical, we understand that many of our learners come from outside London and many are not native to, or living in the UK. London Bridge station has daily arrivals from southeast London, Kent and Sussex and provides travel access for the city of London to commuters each day.
If you’re a learner with IELTS Medical and are from Brighton, Luton, Dartford, Bedford and other surrounding areas you will be likely to arrive into London via London Bridge station.
In order to get to our Paddington, central London training centre from London Bridge train station, the most efficient travel option is the London Underground.
The steps to reach our training centre are:
- Start at London Bridge Station
- Walk to the London Bridge underground station (2 mins walk)
- Board the Jubilee Line service towards Stanmore (platform 3)
- Change trains at Baker Street station
- Get on a Bakerloo line service towards Stonebridge Park (platform 9)
- Get off the train at Edgware Road station
- Walk for 5 minutes to our training centre – Winchester House (NW1 5RA)
