Soho is one of London’s top cultural areas, with live music, boutique shopping and great pubs and dining. There is so much going on under the backdrop of a historical and lively area of the city!

Soho is located in London’s west end and is a very suitably sized area for exploring on foot. There are other London areas that can be reached on foot from Soho, these include Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus.

Soho’s shopping experience is different to that of the nearby Oxford Street, many of the stores located in Carnaby are smaller but have so much character and are usually stores of more boutique brands. This leads to a more aesthetically pleasing and relaxing shopping experience.

The dining experience in Soho is a brilliant blend of cultures from around the world. Neighbouring Soho is Chinatown, so there is a seemingly endless choice of Chinese food in that area, both eat in and takeaway. An English style breakfast service is offered at The Breakfast Club Soho, suitable for brunch also. Fantastic, authentic Indian cuisine can be found at Masala Zone or Cinnamon Soho.

If fine dining is something that appeals to you then why not try one of Soho’s 3 Michelin star restaurants. Barrafina, Yauatcha and Social Eating House all are critically acclaimed and waiting to give your taste buds an unforgettable experience.
If you don’t fancy sitting down, there are a number of small eateries located at Kingly Court with different cuisines from across the globe, in a relaxed, alfresco dining setting.

When it comes to nightlife, Soho is one of London’s hotspots for a cheeky drink!
There are many bars in the area such as Bar Soho and Soho residence, they are great spots for grabbing a quality cocktail served with flair.
For our learners who are especially brave, the lucky voice karaoke bar is a great venue to sing your heart out and have laughs with friends.

In Soho there are also many historic LGBTQ venues, these spaces are inclusive, open until late and no one will feel like an outsider. Bars such as Compton’s and pubs such as the Duke of Wellington and the Admiral Duncan are great to have a drink in a fun, friendly atmosphere.

Theatre is a major part of the allure of Soho and at any given time there will be various musicals or plays being performed, there is something for everyone to be found amongst the theatres in Soho.
