Overall, it is noticeable that with the exception of doctors, nurses and midwives in Dubai, the UK generally pays its healthcare professionals comparatively higher annual salaries. That said, the cost of living is a consideration that is not factored into these comparisons. It is generally less expensive to live in some of the other countries referenced here. Bills such as Council and Income Tax are not a feature in countries like Dubai, for example. Furthermore, in some countries the work-life balance is a more important consideration than salary.
