The opening of the new Leeds NMC OSCE test Centre
Leeds is the newest test centre to open as part of the NMC’S current drive to increase the number of OSCE providers and test capacity. Leeds teaching hospitals NHS trust is the fifth partner to offer internationally trained professionals and those returning to practice the chance to their objective structured clinical examination (OSCE).
The new opening of Leeds will give candidates more choice regarding where to take their exam, this will allow you to join the register much quicker and safer. Leeds Teaching hospitals NHS trust joins Northumbria university, Oxford Brookes University, the university of Northampton and Ulster university. Due to this OSCE providers all over the UK are able to now accommodate up to 35,000 candidates each year for the OSCE exam. Therefore, making OSCE tests even more accessible to skilled nursing and midwifery professionals.
