What are the requirements to be NMC registered?

As International Nurses Day has just passed, we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to the hardworking Nurses and Midwives who have carried us through this pandemic.

Many International Nurses who come to the UK in hopes to be Registered Nurses, have to work as Nursing Associates and are not able to climb the ladder as they are not NMC registered. Working as a Nursing Associate is an extremely rewarding career for many, however after studying Nursing for 3 years with the relevant experience and not being able to continue this in the UK is disappointing for a lot of Nurses.

The way to solve is to become NMC registered!

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) is the regulator for Nursing and Midwifery professions in the UK. The NMC maintains a register of all Nurses and Midwives. Many Nurses and Midwives find registering with the NMC difficult due to the requirements and evidence as well as the time it takes to complete the application.

We are now introducing a new service to say thank you for all your hard work and be able to help as many Nurses and Midwives who are struggling to apply to the NMC. The requirements for the NMC includes the following:

-          Qualification Evaluation Fee: £140

-          Registration Fee: £153

-          CBT Exam: £83

-          OSCE Exam: £794

Total: £1,170

What you may not know is that there are many more requirements that come with this application, these include:

-          IELTS/OET Exam: £185 (approximately)

-          IELTS/OET Preparation: £786 (approximately)

-          CBT Preparation: £450

-          OSCE Preparation: £684.07

-          Police Clearance: £55

Total (including the above): £3,330.07

You will also need the following documents and evidence:

-          Valid Passport

-          Qualification Certificate (Translated in English)

-          Declare any disabilities/health conditions

-          Declare any police charges, cautions, convictions or conditional charges

-          Evidence of any name changes

-          A name and contact of a regulator in your country of training

-          A name and contact of a registered medical practitioner to ensure your health

-          DBS Certificate

-          Character reference

The service we are offering includes the completion of the NMC application. We are able to complete your application by uploading and communicating with the NMC to ensure the process is as efficient as possible.
