The PLAB1 Exam
The PLAB1 exam is made up of 180 multiple choice questions which must be answered within 3 hours, the structure entails a short scenario followed by a question. The PLAB1 exam covers common, important or acute conditions, which are those most commonly encountered in UK emergency departments.

 

The PLAB2 Exam
PLAB2 is an objective structured clinical examination (OSCE). It is made up of 16 scenarios, each lasting 8 minutes and will reflect real life settings that would be likely to occur in the UK whilst practising.
It tests the ability to apply knowledge and care for patients, so make sure to be confident and prepare yourself and you will do great!
