Notting Hill carnival
The Notting Hill Carnival is a staple of the London events calendar, held yearly in Ladbroke Grove in west London. It’s a globally recognised celebration of Caribbean culture in the UK and has many different music shows, food stalls and other things to do to get you in the festival spirit.
The first edition of the Notting Hill Carnival was held in 1965 and has been growing in attendance and recognition ever since this. Each year 2,500,000 people attend the Carnival in some capacity which creates an amazing sense of excitement and togetherness.
