MRCGP Doctors Workshop 7th - 8th November
In order to become a member of the Royal College of GPs (or MRCGP), candidates must pass and complete the Applied Knowledge Test (or AKT) and the Recorded Consultation Assessment (RCA). For the RCA exam, the best preparation is one that helps aspiring GPs to complete their RCGP e-portfolio as completely as possible. This means, helping you to understand what the RCGP require from you, as well as which scenarios you will be asked to face at the assessment stage.
How can I pass the RCA exam?
Here at IELTS Medical, we’ve partnered with GP Educator and RCGP AiT Vice Chair Dr. Muddasar Ahmed, to bring you a series of workshops specifically for the RCA exams. At MRCGP Doctors, we’ve planned a full day that’s split into two parts. Part one includes six group session including model practice on effective consultation skills; delivering consultations and data gathering; conducting examinations; producing management plans; sharpening interpersonal skills and safety netting.
When is the next MRCGP Doctors Workshop?
There are four groups in the next MRCGP Doctors Workshop; two attending on 7th November and two groups on 8th November.
What about Social Distancing and Covid-19?
During this period of Covid 19, we are making sure that as an organisation we keep our attendees safe whilst you attend courses here.
Firstly, rest assured that as a training centre providing education, we have a government exemption to provide courses for more than six people. That said, attendees are permitted and encouraged to wear masks. All seats are 1 or more metres apart and a 1-way system is in operation in our building. We have daily sanitising in the building and there are alcohol-based hand sanitisers in every room for attendees.
