What Type of Materials Are Helpful for the NMC CBT?


What is the NMC CBT?

The NMC CBT is a theoretical exam that is part one of the NMC's Test of Competence. The NMC's Test of Competence is the exam that overseas and Return to Practise nurses need to pass in order to join the NMC register. The current version of the exam is made up of two parts: Part A Numeracy & Part B Multiple Choice Questions. Part A is 15 numerical questions for example drug calculations. Part B contains more scenario questions.

What Type of Materials Are Helpful for the NMC CBT? 

There are various types of helpful materials to bring the NMC CBT to life. For example, there are CBT question banks; CBT books and CBT Video courses. For the former, practicing CBT-type questions against the clock helps you to train yourself to select the right answer of four options, under pressure.
