In association with Focus Active Learning Ltd and ASAP Kerala, we will be delivering interactive online training and an in-person mock exam to help nurses in the Kerala state to pass the NMC CBT in one go. Across three days a week over two weeks, the all inclusive course will cover the NMC CBT Part A numeracy and the NMC CBT Part B Clinical Questions for Nursing. The NMC CBT course will also include books and digital learning materials, as well as a full mock exam delivered under timed conditions like the real NMC CBT exam. This course is part of the Indian Government's initiative to upskill nurses in the Kerala state.

What is the NMC CBT?


In order to practise as a nurse in the United Kingdom, you must complete registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (or NMC). This requires satisfying three stages: the English Language Stage (via IELTS or OET) and the two part Test of Competence (NMC CBT and NMC OSCE).

The NMC CBT is a computer based test. The official NMC CBT test provider is Pearson VUE and they have 7 test centres in Kerala.


The NMC CBT is split into two parts:

Part A is numeracy and consists of 15 questions across 30 minutes.
Part B covers clinical questions for nursing and consists of 100 questions across 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The NMC CBT course is made up of 4 half days of tuition, 1 half day with a full mock exam under timed conditions and 1 half day of debriefing with the results. We'll cover Part A on the first half day, Part B during the next three and the last two days will be your guided NMC CBT mock exam & feedback.
