Getting Ready For An NMC OSCE First Time Pass

The above image is a photo of our Whatsapp group (+447598311788) where our Lead OSCE Trainer Claire assisted not one… not two… but SIX out of SIX nurses to first time NMC OSCE success.
As you know, UK registration for international nurses requires passing the NMC OSCE and its purpose is to satisfy UK pre-registration standards. This includes testing nurses on their communication and clinical skills. Successful nurses will have to satisfy OSCE examiners that they can make sound clinical decisions under pressure, across six stations. They will have 15 minutes at each station to deal with APIE and Nursing Skills using practical application of their theoretical nursing knowledge.
It is important to realise that to pass this exam, the first time you come across these or similar scenarios cannot be at your test.
Here at IELTS Medical we provide an excellent OSCE preparation course that is Clinical Educator led. Our Lead OSCE trainer, Claire, is dedicated, experienced and successful. We have OSCE training at least once a month in North and Central London. To find out when our next OSCE coaching will take place, visit OSCE Nurses or our Eventbrite page.
Working in small groups, our nurses will receive coaching and guidance to help you pass the OSCE first time. We simulate a clinical environment, presenting you with scenarios that you will likely encounter as a Registered Nurse. At the end of the course you will be invited to sit a mock examination that is assessed.
Claire leads our professional OSCE training team who have high standards and maintain a high (98% in 2017 and currently similar in 2018) pass rate. All of our trainers are registered NHS nurses and enjoy guiding our nurses to OSCE success. If you’re ready to pass your OSCE, reach out.
