IELTS Medical are currently looking to hire skilled and motivated individuals in 2 roles. An educator for IELTS/OET courses to work from our Central London Training Centre. 

The other role is for a medics experience officer, working to ensure our learners have a fantastic experience with IELTS Medical during their time at our training centre and beyond. More information regarding both of these roles will be included below. 

Medics experience officer

Salary: £25,000

Location: London, W2 2UT

To support and enhance the learning experience of our course participants.  This is a busy and varied role which requires the post holder to communicate persuasively and tactfully with the Education Team and to be in regularly communication with participants (which may at times include confidential matters).  The post holder will ideally have counselling skills experience.  Excellent organisational skills, a good use of initiative and the ability to interpret and apply complex information (i.e., the organisation's regulations and Terms and Conditions), is essential. 

In fulfilling these functions, the post holder will foster and maintain a regular working relationship with colleagues in the Office Team and act as a liaison between them and the Education Team.

 

Duties include:

Support the learning and teaching environment of participants

Work with the Office Team to provide pre-arrival and orientation information to participants

Co-ordinate activities with administrators

Liaise with Directors of Study and Lead Educators

Facilitate support of participants, mentoring and on-site pastoral care

Supporting participants who raise queries or indicate concerns

Complete Health and Safety briefings

The post holder will be required to spend time discussing issues with participants, many of whom may be agitated or distressed

Identify and fill gaps in information, gather and agree appropriate forum in which to provide to students

Liaise with and coordinate alumni and company contacts who are contributing to induction activities.  Develop and plan continual participant engagement activities and events to enhance the student experience, in liaison with School staff as well as central University services and external organisations

Contribute to local and international recruitment of participants

The post holder will, from time to time, be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as may reasonably be required by his/her line manager. Flexibility will be essential as there may be occasions when the post holder’s role and skill set may be required elsewhere within the organisation.

 

English Language (IELTS, OET) Tutor

We are looking to recruit experienced English Language (IELTS Academic and OET) Educators who have a strong background in delivering training to high standards.

 

The role is to delivery our in-person IELTS and OET (Nursing, Medicine and Pharmacy) courses on a monthly basis and our online courses as required.

 

As English Language Educator, you will be responsible for teaching IELTS or OET courses to overseas qualified healthcare professionals. You will ensure learners have a clear understanding of what's expected of them during their preparation. It will be your responsibility to help the organisation to support learners through their learning journey to the successful completion of their IELTS and OET exams.
