The Test of Competence Part 2: OSCE examination is a practical exam that Overseas Nurses need to pass in order to be on the NMC register and working in the UK. Practical exams such as this require practical training as it is very difficult to study online UNLESS you have prior knowledge of the OSCE or are receiving 1:1 training.
Recently, a Nurse came us explaining that the training arranged by her NHS Trust for her cohort's first attempt of the NMC OSCE exam was a 2-day online session with all 20 Nurses!
Wow.
Of course, she was worried! Unfortunately, this did lead to her first-time OSCE exam being a partial-pass and not a full pass, which does mean a return visit to the OSCE exam centre for £397.00.
She then came to us, full of worries and doubts, which were completely cleared with our NMC OSCE 1:1 Flex Course. Our trainer worked closely monitoring her progress and focusing on the exact areas that she was worried about including the ANTT station.
We recently got back in touch with her and she has passed confidently! In fact, she says that she passed the ANTT station with extra time left.
