Immigration

There are two routes you could apply for to complete your NMC Registration with us:

Scheme 1: Study English in the UK (short-term study visa) for IELTS or OET or Short term study visa for NMC CBT or NMC OSCE

We will help you to apply online 3 months before you travel to the UK. After we apply online, you will need to prove your identity and provide documents. You will usually get a decision within 3 weeks, but you may be able to pay to get a faster decision.

We will hold your hand through the whole process.

Training

In order to complete NMC registration and work as a nurse or midwife in the UK from overseas, there are generally three exams that you need to pass. If you have trained in a language other than English, you need to demonstrate your English language competency via the Academic version of the IELTS or OET (Nursing). You also need to pass the NMC CBT which is a theory test that is split into two parts: part A numeracy and part B 100 MCQ questions. You also need to pass the NMC OSCE which is a practical test.

At IELTS Medical, we provide you with training for your IELTS or OET, NMC CBT and NMC OSCE depending on the stage you are at with your application.

Accommodation

We will provide you with accommodation for the 3-6 months that you are here with us in accommodation that is 5-10 minutes walk from our training centre. We will give you the address for your application.
