What are the new changes in the CBT exam?

What are the new changes in the CBT exam?
As you may already know, the NMC is changing its registration exams, and this will affect the way you become a registered nurse.
Why are those changes happening?
Those changes are happening to reflect the ones that are happening in nursing practice.
The NMC wants the test to be as close as possible from the reality of the field.
When do they start?
The NMC updates its standards with its clinical editors every year and agrees to implement changes to the CBT and OSCE starting April 2021.
Changes in CBT
Currently, the CBT is a 120 multiple-choice exam, and you have three hours to complete it. It is here to test your ability to apply your knowledge to patient care.
As of April, it will be split into two parts; Part A (Numeracy) offers 15 marks over 30 minutes and Part B (Clinical) offers 100 marks over 2 ½ hrs
