What is the OSCE training for midwives?

Hello, in today's blog post, I'll discuss how OSCE training for midwives works. Before taking the OSCE exam, a midwife must first register with the NMC and then take either an IELTS or an OET, both of which are English examinations with the exception that the OET is a healthcare-specific English language test. After that, they must take a CBT, which is a computer-based exam with 120 general nursing and midwifery questions (Legacy / "old version") or 15 numeracy questions & 100 Multiple Choice questions (ToC 21 / "new version").

The NMC OSCE for Midwives

The OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) exam is divided into six or ten stations, for which we have three-, four-, and five-day courses available. Our courses are held at our Central London Training Centre from Wednesday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the next one will run from the 1st of December to the 3rd of December.
