Are you scheduled or considering to come to the IELTS Medical centre over the next few days? This is a blog post that will be useful for you to read…
The last thing you need when heading to our training centres is to leave the house and discover that trains are cancelled or delayed. This of course can be extremely stressful and worrying, we at IELTS Medical understand that you want to utilise all the time you possibly can when training with us at our London HQ.
The UK is set for strike action by railway employees on the following days:
- Wednesday 31st May
- Friday 2nd June
- Saturday 3rd June
This will affect Doctors attending the GMC PLAB1 one day crash course on Saturday 3rd June. If you’re planning to travel on these dates its important to make allowances for delays and alternate times of travel.
Trains will be running on these days but will be operating under a reduced service. You may need to consider making different arrangements in order to avoid your journey being disrupted, alternatively you might consider coach travel as an option if you’re coming from outside London, a link to the National Express website is included here so you can check and book: https://www.nationalexpress.com/en
Another option is to stay in the accommodation we offer that is located near our training centre in Paddington, Central London. This will enable you to eliminate the uncertainty that comes with travelling on these strike dates, more information about accommodation options can be found on the IELTS Medical website: https://iemedical.co.uk/locations/accommodation
