Are you a PLAB 1 ASPIRANT who finds it hard to know when the GMC will release more seats?   

Are you worried and afraid that you might miss booking your seat?  

We know how it feels, and no doctor deserves to go through that! This is why I will keep you in the loop of all the GMC Updates! 

As everyone knows, PLAB 1 only happens four times a year, and the seats get fully booked in the blink of an eye! This makes the procedure longer if you miss booking the closest day. To avoid that, I advise all the doctors to plan their preparation better, and when they take the IELTS/OET, depending on their level of English, they should know how long they’ll need to clear the language stage. Remember that the results for OET take 12 working days to be released.  

PLAB 1 update: releasing places for February & May 2024. On Saturday, 18 March 2023, at 10.00am (GMT), we’ll release PLAB 1 places for the following dates across all locations: 

#-15 February 2024 

#- 23 May 2024 

 

Steps to follow for exam booking: 

 
1- Set your alarm for the 18 March at 9 am GMT (set it to remind you a day before). 

2- Get ready to book your PLAB 1 seat at 10 am. 

3- Book your PLAB 1 exam. 

 

After following the 3 steps mentioned above, the PLAB 1 seat booking is resolved, and now it’s time to resolve the preparation issue! Many doctors find it incredibly hard to prepare by themselves for PLAB, even with the help of the materials they find online. Wonder why? It’s because they don’t have Medical educators who went through the same procedure, who know exactly how the exam is run and what the doctor needs to pass it! Doctors need personalised feedback to be able to improve and learn from their mistakes which is what we provide after taking the course and the mock exam just like the real PLAB  exam! This way the doctors are better prepared for the exam.

2 - Book your PLAB 1 course and attend it 

3 - Become exam ready and pass your PLAB 1.
