Occupational English Test Courses in London - Evening Edition

This Winter, we’ve relaunched our Occupational English Test Courses in the Evening with OET Medicine preparation starting the season. Training from 5:30pm to 8:30pm for four days a week, our medics join experienced OET Tutors to prepare for the examination. The OET 4x4 Evening Course includes instruction and practice for all four skills (OET Listening, OET Reading, OET Speaking and OET Writing). The OET Speaking and Writing courses, in particular, include (but is not limited to) a focus on the English grammar skills that you will require in order to do well on these aspects of the examination.
As you may already know, the Occupational English Test is a language examination that is accepted by the General Medical Council (GMC) in order for overseas qualified medical doctors to demonstrate their English language proficiency. For the same purpose, OET exam results are also accepted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) from overseas qualified nurses and midwives. It is a high stakes assessment that is recognized by the regulators and a requirement in order for the nurse or doctor to progress in the UK. There are various OET examination dates worldwide, either once or twice each month, providing various opportunities for our medics to take the first step in their relocation plans.
Here at IELTS Medical, we provide OET courses for doctors and nurses in order to support your plans to move to the United Kingdom and start or restart your medical career here.
Our OET courses begin after an OET assessment to ensure that the OET exam is the right choice for you. We then prepare for three weeks – usually towards the next upcoming OET examination. Previous attendees to our OET evening course let us know that they appreciated the out of hours support that includes exclusive OET materials, an OET preparation book, access to our OET app and effective OET instruction that will support you towards achieving the OET B-B-B-B grades required for GMC registration.
