IELTS Medical has seen many of our motivated nurses take their OSCE exam at Ulster University and pass first-time! If you are having a hard time choosing which centre you would like to take your exam here is some information about the exam process at Ulster University:

Booking your exam at Ulster can be done directly by emailing ctc@ulster.ac.uk. If you request it, IELTS Medical is able to assist you with your booking and we will come back to you with an exam date that works for you. Exams can be taken at Ulster University on their campus in Londonderry.

 

What are the steps I need to take?

 

·         Contact Ulster University by email to book your exam date and make a payment of £794.00.

·         Receive confirmation of your exam date and watch the online briefing video.

·         Arrive to your exam 15 minutes before your exam time and provide the administrator with the required documents.

·         Have your documents checked, photo taken, ID badge produced and locker key given to you.

·         You will then be provided with the candidate briefing, confidentiality and health declaration form to read and sign in the reception area.

·         After this, you will be taken into the assessment area by the Invigilator and briefed prior to test. You will also have 5 minutes to read each OSCE brief.

·         Complete your OSCE exam!

·         Receive your exam results via email, 5-day post-exam from the NMC.

 

Don’ts for the OSCE exam at Ulster University!

 

1.       Avoid bringing bulky clothing.

2.       Do not bring large suitcases to the assessment centre.

3.    Ulster University does not have storage space for anything larger than a small handbag or rucksack so do not bring anything more than this.

4.      Do not bring friends, family or children to wait for you in the assessment centre.
