Mock Exam - the best way to prepare for OSCE

Let me guess. Your goal is to pass your OSCE first time. Well, I don’t blame you! Just the amount of time and money you invest into preparing for the first time is exhausting; preparing for a resit? Not fun. Not cheap. I completely feel you! And you should pass on the first try; it shouldn’t be so hard right? Well, I agree. And you want to know more? I’m going to share a solution to that problem with you!

You probably already know from your nursing training that no amount of just theory studies will prepare you for the practice. And, without practicing those practical skills, you are not prepared for your exams. And even more: understanding how the exam works gives you one more advantage when sitting the actual exam. That’s why we have mock exams.

Mock exams will simulate all OSCE stations – APIE, Skills and Silent Stations – in a realistic way. They’ll be timed; you’ll deal with actors, and scenarios, use the equipment, practice and familiarize yourself with all aspects of the OSCE. This is beneficial in two ways:

1. It’ll give you a chance to know what to expect on the actual day of the exam, even for you to know how to best allocate your time and resources

2. It’ll give you a chance to perfect your skills and feel prepared for the actual big day

We run full mock exams with all of our in-person OSCE courses, with even a chance to do a second mock afterwards so you can perfect what you failed the first time and be even more prepared for your exam! The mocks are run by experienced OSCE nurse educators in our fully equipped clinical rooms and with personalized feedback being provided upon completion.
