How to reach the 9.0 is a series addressing the best strategies for tackling IELTS Listening, IELTS Reading, IELTS Speaking and IELTS Writing. This textbook features multiple tips, tricks and strategies that have seen our healthcare professionals through the exam and into practice.

Our healthcare professionals require the Academic version of the IELTS exam, and this book addresses that by providing suitably complex assignments for IELTS Listening, IELTS Speaking, IELTS Reading and Writing section.

IELTS Listening is comprised of four parts of increasing difficulty. Each part is a short dialogue (or monologue) that is followed by a set of questions. You must prepare well for the section and know enough IELTS Listening tips and tricks to see you through, as each text is played only once. You will have 40 minutes to complete the task.

In the IELTS Reading of the academic version of the test, candidates are presented with three texts and 40 questions (13-14 for each text).

IELTS Writing is comprised of 2 tasks in the academic module. IELTS Writing task 1 requires describing a graph, diagram, or chart and IELTS Writing task 2 is an essay.  Writing in IELTS essays requires a lot of practice. Like in Reading, students have 60 minutes to finish the section.
