EU or Overseas Nurses and Midwives who choose to take IELTS need to take the Academic IELTS exam and achieve a 7.0 IELTS score in reading, listening and speaking and 6.5 IELTS score in writing with a 7.0 score overall for NMC Registration. The NMC accept both, the paper based and computer based IELTS Academic exams delivered at a test centre.
Here at IELTS Medical, our IELTS classroom courses run from Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 15:00 which gives our nurses a perfect environment to study with other learners. A great revision technique, especially when studying language, is to study in a group. Statistics show that this eliminates the chance of procrastination and increases the sharpness of an individual’s brain which in turn increases the chances of passing your IELTS exam. Our IELTS course also comes with a coursebook and access to a learner’s portal. For IELTS course start dates, you can visit: https://ieltsmedical.co.uk/centre-course-dates?type=&course=IELTS
On the other hand, for those learners who live further away from London, the Flex IELTS courses may be more efficient and beneficial. Our IELTS Flex courses are run by experienced tutors who will challenge you and ensure that you pass first time! As mentioned in the name, the sessions are flexible and can be booked on your learner portal’s whenever suits you best. Each session is 1 hour with your tutor and once you complete your sessions if you are in need of more you can book additional sessions if you call one of our booking assistants. To book these sessions you can call the Centre on 0203 637 6722 or visit https://ieltsmedical.co.uk/ielts-flex
Once you have prepared and are ready to take IELTS you can book your exam! There are IELTS exam centres all around the world so you can take this wherever you are. To book an exam visit: https://www.ielts.org/book-a-test/find-a-test-location/location-list/united-kingdom/tv
