Many courses are available now to apply for a January start!
If you’ve been interested in moving to the UK to be a nurse, midwife or doctor then you know you need to take some of the following courses; IELTS/OET, CBT, PLAB or OSCE. While most courses start in September, we offer monthly intakes and shorter courses to give you the chance to study exactly the same course on a different timescale. You’ll be working and living in the UK in no time, this is our aim and with 100% pass rate on our IELTS courses you can have comfort in knowing YOU come first.
Following courses starting January;
ILETS (16-day course)
The International English Language Test System (IELTS) is designed to help you work, study or migrate to the UK. Your ability to listen, read and write in English will be assessed during the test. IELTS is graded on a scale of 1-9
NMC CBT (4-day course)
The Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a test of competency its part 1 of your UK NMC registration for those seeking to work as a nurse or midwife. The CBT is a computer-based test, made up of 120 multiple choice questions to test your ability and knowledge to practice nursing safely in the UK
NMC OSCE (3-day course)
The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is part 2 of the registration process, after this you would be a qualified international nurse or midwife working in the UK. The OSCE will test you on your communication and clinical skills, as well as decision making and handling difficult situations.
PLAB 1 (1-day crash course)
The Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB) 1 is for doctors who are training abroad, to work in the UK as doctors. It’s a written exam made up of 180 multiple choice questions which you must answer within three hours.
PLAB 2 (10-day course)
PLAB 2 is the second component of the PLAB exam run by GMC. It is a OSCE based exam made up of 16 scenarios and takes place in our assessment centres in the UK.
